Balancing

I use a Coats professional-quality wheel balancer. It's the kind of tool that was ubiquitous in my Porsche's day; indeed, from the location of the weights, I can tell that the old tires were balanced this way. Today, computerized spin balancing is the gold standard, but it's not really clear to me that it is significantly better, in practice.
