"Restoration" might be a little grand for this project; it might better be called a mini-restoration. When I bought the Porsche in early 2010, it was in decent shape but still needed a bit of work. In the following months, I rebuilt the front and rear suspensions, added an electric fuel pump, replaced the fuse block and cleaned up the electrics, replaced transmission mounts, and did a whole lot of little things like replacing loose undercoating in the wheel wells. The motivation for this part of the project is to fix the weak first-gear synchro in the transmission, fix an oil leak, and refinish the engine sheet metal, which is peeling badly. I have a set of Bilstein shocks I want to install. Plus, more of the little stuff.

While the pictures are more or less in chronological order, some are clearly out of order. The project consisted of several tasks, which were done more or less in parallel. I tried to keep the photos of each task together. Otherwise, it might seem a little disjointed.
