Summertime
The combination of flowers and creatures on this quilt called to me and said,
"make me!" Ther are plenty of bugs, and even a frog, to make it feel
like a walk through the woods in the summertime. Pattern by Mary Sorensen.
Creatures
in the Night
I had a lot of fun making this quilt. I had to really think about the animals
and bugs, to make them as real as possible. I worked on this quilt for 1 1/2
years. See how many creatures you can find on the quilt. The pattern is from
"Quilts by Rosemary."
Cool
Dude
When I saw the pattern fro this flamingo, I knew I had to make him. He reminds
me of neighborhood kids, just hanging out.
Serengetti
This quilt is machine pieced and hand appliqued. There is a large appliqued
giraffe on the back of this quilt.
Mini
Quilts
The larger of these quilts has three-inch stars. After I finished that quilt, I
decided to try to minaturize the quilt, resulting in 1 1/2 inch stars.
