Old Classics

Julie started life as a purist, using only traditional patterns for her quilts. Here are a few from that era.

Double Wedding Ring

An "Old Classic" if there ever was one. The rings have an outside diameter of 8 inches.

Jewel Box

This quilt uses 998 different fabrics, truly a scrap quilt.

Feathered Star Sampler

The blocks for this quilt were made by the members of the Morning Glories satellite group of the South Bay Quilters Guild. Julie made one of the blocks, the rest were given to her.

President's Stars

After completing one year as president of South Bay Quilters Guild, members gave Julie quarter yards of fabric. Julie used these fabrics to create the stars and also the diamonds around the edge.

Monkey Wrench

This crib size quilt was made as a baby gift for a friend.
